What is ISO 9001:2015?
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard that can benefit any size of organisation. In a nutshell it means processes and procedures follow an international standard that is independently audited.

What is a CE Mark?
It is now a mandatory and therefore legal requirement for all structural steel work to be CE marked throughout Europe in accordance with BS-EN 1090. This European standard covers all structural steelwork and has been in place since 1 July 2014.
A CE Mark is an accreditation that tells you the supplier you are using is following a process and procedure for quality on the job you are asking them to undertake.
What this means to you?
By following this process, they will also supply you with detailed documentation and certification. This provides you with the assurance that the structural steelwork supplied has been designed and manufactured to the relevant standards and the relevant Execution Class.
It assures you that a quality management system of traceability for any component, product element or items within a project package is in place.
On completion you will be provided with the CE certificates for all steel members and a Declaration of Performance.
What about jobs produced by Companies who do not hold the CE Accreditation?
If your supplier does not hold this accreditation they are in breach of legal requirements. Likewise, a company purchasing structural steelwork from a supplier without BS-EN 1090 is also breaching European legislation.

What is it?
Many of our projects are a mixture of steelwork and plant. As machine integrators, we focus as much on machine quality as we do on manufactured components and processes.
The Health & Safety Executive issues a Machinery Directive covering an appendix of essential Health & Safety requirements. CE Marking of machinery denotes its supply meets these essential requirements.
What this means to you?
With this mark, you can be assured any plant and equipment purchased through T H WHITE Projects meets essential Health & Safety legal requirements
Not having the CE Machinery mark
If your supplier does not follow the CE Machinery Directive they are in breach of legal requirements. Likewise, a company purchasing plant from such a supplier is equally non-compliant by not ensuring purchased equipment meets the official standards.
